Hosted this year by George Mason University, in northern Virginia, this annual regional conference brings together Women’s Studies professionals and students from all over.  Looking forward to sharing the stage with the likes of Layli Maparyan, Jasbir Puar, and Merri Lisa Johnson over the three day event!  The theme for this year’s SEWSA conference is titled “Politics of Justice: New Visions of Culture and Society.”  Special shout out to the Women’s Studies department at GMU, especially Dr. Toby Jenkins and Dr. Suzanne Scott for bringing me to perform.
